| MB Motorsport Team plan for TORA 2010 season
This document sets the teams targets for the TORA 2010 season and sets minimum requirements for the team in order to improve on last seasons performance. This specifies the details on sponsorship, manufacturer support, championship focus and a general plan on how the team will be run and how it will grow over the following season.
Section 1 – The Brand
1.1: As members will be aware, the team has undergone a major makeover over the off season as a need to re brand itself as one of TORA's premier teams who are dedicated to the association.
1.2: This package will include a new logo, as a form of improving the groups corporate identity, an improved and revised website to support the team members and attract interest in the team.
1.3: The website will provide an area for members to communicate, and be informed of important milestones and events regarding the team. It must also demonstrate the teams professional style and include promotional photography and videos to attract attention and potential new members on a tuning, driving or marketing side. There will also be a section for press releases to allow the teams achievements to be presented to a broader audience.
1.4: A further feature of this branding will involve a promotional campaign to advertise this new approach and will predominately be based around a poster and article to be released in key areas.
Section 2 – Team Structure
2.1: A major aim for the 2010 season is as reconstruction of the team. This will provide opportunity for further drivers and cars to be used during a championship, providing better scope for success.
2.2: The main feature of this is the running of a second 'b' team, this will be run as a side team to the the current one, sharing the name-sake of MB Motorsport, but apart from that and the marketing and physical link, a separate entity.
2.2.1: The team already are considering a candidate as a team manager for the subsidiary team, who will be overall governed by team founder and director racelegend MB1. A short-list has been drawn and will be announced shortly.
2.3: the current team will be the favoured team and in a championship situation if it is felt that they are more likely to win, then team orders will be induced.
2.4: racelegend MB1 will remain as director and Sgt Jigglymoobs is confirmed as a driver in the majority of championships next season.
Section 3 – Sponsorship
3.1: The team will be looking for sponsorship for the 2010 season as a title sponsor and several championship title sponsors.
3.2: Many of last seasons sponsors have pledged continued support for the 2010 season. Although it is too early to release the details.
Section 4 – Championships
4.1: The TORA 2010 calendar has yet to be released by the association, however it can be expected to see the main series from 2009.
4.2: MB Motorsport intend to be represented again in the GTC with atleast one team but preferably two with three drivers each.
4.3: As part of the GT programme, the team will enter one team in GT3 of the LMS, this will be based on the most successful of the GTC teams entering with an identical format, and the other to be running in GT1, GT2 is unlikely to be contested as it has been shown as a complex class that features both 4WD and RWD.
4.4: The TCC will be contested by MB Motorsport, as part of the new MB Motorsport. Once again atleast one team with three drivers or two teams with two drivers will be entered.
4.5: As regard to potential smaller series that will be run as part of the 2010 calender, at the moment the team can not comment specifically although all series will be considered and will ran as either as a key or minor event as part of the programme.
Section 5 – Cars
